Elisabeth Briggs, Yoga Teacher, Hallam Pilates, Sheffield, UK

Lisi Briggs

Lisi is a British Wheel of Yoga teacher. She has been teaching yoga since 2015, when she qualified with the 3 year BWY level 4 teacher diploma…and has continued learning ever since!

She teaches hatha yoga, meaning that classes incorporate posture and breathing practice to prepare the body for deep relaxation. Her teaching style is influenced by her training in bihar satnayanda yoga where the goal of the physical and breathing practice is to be able to sit comfortably (asana) in meditation. Through personal practice in powerful ashtanga yoga, there will also be vinyasa elements, where movement is linked with breathing, and the breath is used to guide you through postures.
